Fantasy Debrief | Round 20

Rivals Returns saw old rivals collide for the third time in the 2026 Betfred Super League season. There’s still so much up for grabs as clubs fight to be in the play-off places and fantasy players try to score as many points as they can before time runs out.

Let’s run down the top performers from Rivals Returns so you can build the best team ahead of the Thursday 6pm deadline…

Harry Rushton – 89 points

A much needed win for the Giants, spearheaded by their loose forward Rushton as he put in a Player of the Match performance against the Knights!

Rushton ran with the ball for 140 metres, whilst breaking through seven would be Knights tacklers.

Putting the Giants forward in your team will free up funds to spend elsewhere in your fantasy side. Will Rushton be in your side for Round 21?

Zac Woolford – 82 points

It was an all-action display from Woolford who made meaningful contributions to the Giants win.

Woolford ran for 110 metres in only fifteen carries! Including one clean line break, the Giants hooker also made a six runs from dummy half and scored a try.

The hooker has already racked up 790 fantasy points, proving he’s a consistent source of fantasy points. And he’s cheaper compared to others in his position! Will he be part of your side for the weekend?

Tom Johnstone – 81 points

A firm fantasy favourite, the Trinity speedster is no stranger to featuring on this list. And given his performance against the Tigers we can see why!

Scoring two tries and assisting another was just the tip of the iceberg for Johnstone. He also made two clean line breaks, ran for 210 metres and completed a staggering eight tackle busts.

Will you be putting Johnstone in your team?

Jack Welsby – 74 points

It’s not been smooth sailing at the BrewDog Stadium in recent weeks. But the St Helens number one can hold his head high given his display at the weekend.

Welsby scored one try and assisted another, as well as completing three clean line breaks, ran for 120 metres and completed a solid seven tackle busts in the process. A return to form for the England full-back.

Welsby is one of the best and can elevate any team, on the pitch and in a fantasy context. Will you put him in your side for Round 21?

Adam Keighran – 70 points

The Warriors’ outside back has gone under the radar compared to some of his team mates this season. But none the less has put in good performance after good performance. Friday being just the latest.

Keighran was ruthless with the boot kicking 14 points, scoring one try and assisting another. As well as completing two offloads and six tackle busts!

The centre can provide those all important fantasy points for any side. Has he done enough to convince you to put him in your team?

Fantasy Flops

Toby King – 16 points

The Broncos bound experienced centre failed to make any meaningful impact against the Leopards. He’ll be looking to do better as the Wolves face the Tigers.

Josh Smith – 26 points

The Wolves outside back has had a stellar debut season in Super League. However he didn’t live up to expectations at the weekend. He’ll be wanting to bounce back in round 21.
